Cuando se trata de almacenar en casa, casi siempre sucumbimos a la practica común de tirar todo en un cuartito o en una esquina y listo, y no digo que no fuera nuestro caso, pero siempre me ha parecido un error no organizar las cosas de manera que puedas encontrarlas rápidamente. En casa tenemos una zona dedicada a almacenar todo lo referente a lavado, limpieza y too lo tectónico (bombillas, interruptores, herramientas, etc) y aunque intentamos desde un principio tener todo organizado en esos estantes de Ikea (que ya no fabrican), aun así se nos fue de las manos, así que nos pusimos a analizar el espacio y nos dimos cuenta que definitivamente deberíamos utilizar la zona superior!
When it comes to storing at home, we almost always succumb to the common practice of throwing everything in a small room or in a corner and voila, and I’m not saying that was not our case, but it has always seemed a mistake not to organize things in a way that you can find them quickly.
At home we have an area dedicated to storing everything related to washing, cleaning and everything technical (light bulbs, switches, tools, etc.) and although we tried from the beginning to have everything organized on those Ikea shelves (they no longer manufacture), it still got out of our hands, so we started to analyze the space and realized that we should definitely use the upper area!
1: Utiliza todo el espacio horizontal y vertical para almacenar || Tip 1: Use vertical and horizontal space
Cuál fue el plan? pues sencillo, analizar, medir, instalar, depurar y organizar! Lo primero es ver que ya tienes, en nuestro caso ya teníamos los mini estantes de metal, algunas cajas de carton y listo! de allí medimos el espacio y verificamos varias opciones de instalación, la mas conveniente fue la linea Boaxel de Ikea.
What was the plan? simple, analyze, measure, install, declutter and organize! The first thing is to see what you already have, in our case we already had the mini metal shelves, some cardboard boxes and that’s it! From there we measured the space and verified various installation options, the most convenient being the Boaxel line from Ikea.
2: Utliza lo que ya tienes para almacenar y ve complementando || Tip 2: Use what you have already to organize and just complement it.
Asi que tomando en cuenta la estructura de dicha linea, elegimos las piezas para luego instalarlas y, aunque no me creas, fue la parte mas sencilla, lo peor del proceso es depurar pues muchas veces no sabes bien que debe quedarse y que no, así que utilice mi técnica de “si no me ha hecho falta en los últimos 6 meses, se va”, créeme es una técnica infalible! (jejej)
So, taking into account the structure of this line, we choose the pieces to install them later and, even if you don’t believe me, it was the simplest part, the worst part of the process is decluttering because many times you don’t really know what should stay and what not. So, for that I use my technique of «if I have not needed it in the last 6 months, it goes away», believe me it is an infallible technique! (hehe)
3: utiliza ganchos para colgar de la pared aquello que necesitas siempre a la vista || Tip 3: use hooks to hang on the wall what you need to be in sight level.
4: si puedes hacer un hack, no lo dudes!, aquí utilizamos los ganchos para agarrar otra barra excelente idea! || Tip 4: if you can hack it, don’t doubt it! here we used the hooks to support another bar, great idea!
Una vez todo instalado, lo dividimos por zonas: lavado, limpieza, almacenaje de uso cotidiano y almacenaje general.
Once everything is installed, we divide it into zones: washing, cleaning, storage for everyday use and general storage.
5: Decora!!! integra plantas, texturas y marcos, pues aunque es un area de almacenaje, tambien debe ser aparente al ojo! || Tip 5: always add decor! put some plants, textures and frames just to add an appeal to a very practical space.
