Consejos para elegir tu mesa de noche.

Las mesas de noche, si esas justo al lado de la cama, son para mí unas salva vidas. Sé que suena exagerado pero lo son ya que me permiten tener lo primordial al alcance de un giro en la cama (y nunca me he caído, solo digo jiji)  una extension del brazo y listo! celular en mano.

Dejando las bromas a un lado, existen muchos tipos de mesas de noche, pero lo que principalmente las caracteriza es el tamaño y este dependerá del de la habitación dónde estarán colocadas. Por esto hoy te traigo varios puntos a considerar al momento de seleccionar tu mesa de noche y todos se enfocan en mantener las proporciones en la decoración.

CONSEJOS:

Tamaño de la habitación. Aunque esto es poco controlable, el tamaño de la habitación te permitirá definir un sin numero de cosas, entre ellas si debes o no tener un gavetero, lo cual te ayudara a determinar si las mesitas de noche harán dicha función. Si es así selecciona aquellas que tengan gavetas amplias o profundas donde puedas guardar tus efectos personales.

The nightstands, yes those right next to the bed, are life savers for me. I know it sounds exaggerated, but they are since they allow me to have the essentials within reach of a turn in the bed (and I have never fallen, just saying hehe) an extension of the arm and voila! cell phone in hand.

Joke aside, there are many types of nightstands, but what mainly characterizes them is the size and this will depend on the room where they will be placed. That is why today I bring you different points to consider when selecting your nightstand and all focus on maintaining proportions in the decor.

DECOR TIPS:

Room size. Although this is not very controllable, the size of the room will allow you to define a number of things, including whether or not you should have a dresser, which will help you determine if the nightstands will do this function. If so, select those that have wide or deep drawers where you can store your personal effects.

Tamaño de la cama. Y aquí podemos hablar de la proporción que se debe mantener al momento de elegir pues la idea principal no es solo que podamos guardar cosas en ellas, también es que al ver que el tamaño de las mesas sea proporcional al tamaño de la cama pues no queremos tener una super mesa de noche junto a una cama twin.

Bed size. And here its so important that proportion be maintained when choosing, because the main idea is not only that we can store things in them, it is also that the size of the tables is proportional to the size of the bed, we don’t want have a super big nightstand next to a twin bed.

Distancia entre la pared y el costado de la cama. Muchas veces el tamaño de la habitación nos permite una sola configuración (forma de colocar los elementos en el espacio) y esta depende mucho del tipo de habitación que es (hab. principal o secundaria). Pero en cualquiera de estas configuraciones es prescindible que se considere la distancia entre el costado de la cama y la pared pues te ayudara a identificar el ancho de tu mesa de noche. 

Olvidate del juego de habitación, pues muchas veces por mas que quieras el set, no te cabe correctamente en la habitación por lo que terminarías haciendo que la habitación se sienta muy cargada o regalando uno de los elementos.

Distance between the wall and the side of the bed. Many times the size of the room allows us a single configuration (the way of placing the elements in the space) and this depends a lot on the type of room it is (main or secondary room). But in any of these configurations, it is essential that the distance between the side of the bed and the wall be considered as it will help you identify the width of your nightstand.

Forget about the bed-dresser-nightstand set, because many times as much as you want the set, it does not fit correctly in the room so you would end up making the room feel very loaded or giving away one of the elements.

Aunque estas son reglas muy generales es necesario recordar que las reglas están para romperse, siempre que se sepa cuál es el propósito al que se quiere llegar.
